Emily Bennington is the founder of Great Rays Spiritual Coaching and a student / teacher of A Course in Miracles (ACIM). Her work deep dives into “the space” between stimulus and response where she challenges clients to choose peaceful, value-centered actions in alignment with ACIM principles.
In addition to her coaching practice, Emily has led training programs on secular mindfulness and composure for numerous Fortune 500 companies and has been featured in press ranging from CNN, ABC, and Fox, to the Wall Street Journal, Glamour, Marie Claire, and Cosmopolitan. Her Minute Mindful blog, which is based on ACIM workbook lessons, is read by thousands of professionals seeking a holistic, yet practical approach to being in the world. While Emily’s site is gender-neutral, in 2013 Forbes listed it as one of the “100 Best Websites for Women.”
Emily is the author of two books – Effective Immediately: How To Fit In, Stand Out, and Move Up at Your First Real Job and Who Says It’s a Man’s World: The Girls’ Guide to Corporate Domination, that was featured as a “Book of the Month” by the Washington Post. As a result of her business background, Emily is skilled at presenting complex metaphysical topics with logical reasoning and practical application. Her dedication to A Course in Miracles stems from the extraordinary shifts made in her own life as a result of applying its lessons.
Emily is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and is currently training to receive coaching certification from the International Coach Academy, as well as ACIM Practitioner certification from Pathways of Light Spiritual College.
